Joe McKay, One to One Exhibition

Internship, Samples of Work

On February 25th, 2016, the Bret Llewellyn Gallery hosted the exhibition One to One by Joe McKay. This is a new media, interactive exhibition focused on the video game, Four Mice.

Joe McKay had multiple works in the gallery. The focus of the exhibition was the Four Mice video game. This game was on a T.V. on the gallery and needed two people to play. Joe McKay’s game was developed and created by him. Other works included in the gallery where stills, photographs, rotoscoped video, tablet tumbler and tweetagraph. All of these needed much time to install and maintain. The main focus we had for this exhibition was that it was interactive so we had to know how to troubleshoot all of the pieces; This includes when the game crashes, when the tables turn off, when the phones get unhooked and more.

The One to One Exhibition is open at the Bret Llewellyn Gallery from February 25th, 2016 to March 17th, 2015.
