Internship, Samples of Work
On September 2nd, 2015 Kyle Marler and Jax Deluca came to the Bret Llewellyn Gallery to set up our first gallery of the Fall 2015 semester.
Kyle and Jax came with new media, interactive piece that was meant to create an “environment that feels like a cloud.” To achieve this environment feeling we had the projector playing the interactive game against the far wall. Max added some sound that she created to give people specific feeling that they wanted in their environment. One aspect that was different to the Flatsitter gallery at the Bret Llewellyn Gallery was that they included multiple layers of netting hanging down from the ceiling to the ground that was colored by the projector. This was important because it gave the gallery a specific feeling of a fairy tale that was not there without the netting.
The Flatsitter Gallery opened on September 3rd and was on view until September 24th, 2015.
