Foundations, Paper Mask, 10″ x 7″ x 2″ , Paper and Tape

This paper mask is a representation of my face made only paper and tape.  The mask itself has a multitude of different planes and embellishments.  The  mask has balance, unity, and pattern because of the symmetry in every piece of the mask. This is human scale and is proportioned to my face.

This mask was difficult to make because of using only paper and tape. Although the mask does not fit my face perfectly, the eyes, nose, mouth, and cheeks and the size of my actual facial features.
